Short answer: All of us... anyone that has a brain!
Longer answer: Elise here, the founder of The Pocket Mentor. My quest began a few years ago after leaving University. I was lucky enough to get a job in the big wide world but soon found I was unprepared for the challenges of everyday life, from coping when something went wrong at work to motivating myself up in the morning. The more I spoke to others, the more I realised I wasn't alone... So, how was it possible for us to go through 14 odd years of formal education and still come out unprepared for the challenges of the real world?
What was missing? Mental strength and positive mindset education. Ta dah, The Pocket Mentor was born! I set out to fill this gap in our education and create a toolkit for young people, however... as I researched I noticed that mental strength and mental wellbeing is not only important but crucial for ALL of us... No matter our age, background or role.
We've had teens use it independently, parents use it with their younger children, university students, adult professionals, and even my grandma! It’s never too early or too late to develop mental strength and mental wellbeing habits, to enable our greatest tool, our brain, to work at it's best and help us thrive.
